Happy New Year,

I hope that you and your family have had a terrific Christmas Holiday and are now over the celebration of the New Year!

These past 2 years have being very trying and challenging for all of us having to deal with the Covid 19 virus and its variants. As much as these coming weeks do not look to see a great improvement in the number of people becoming sick, I do think we will see a great improvement over the next 2 months as more people become fully vaccinated.

As much as lots of people and businesses have struggled over the past couple of years, real estate sales have continued to break records for number of sales with escalating prices. I have been fortunate to be a beneficiary of that market, thanks to people like yourselves.

As I reflect back over the past year, I am thankful for having had a very good year through, fortunately, staying healthy and people allowing me the opportunity to help them with their real estate needs.

So on behalf of all the people who have helped me, I decided to start 2022 off by helping others who may not be as fortunate as I have been, by making a sizeable donation to the Food Bank in Burlington.

What is going to happen in real estate this year? There is no definite answer to this question.

What I can tell you, that as of today, there a total 85 active residential listing in all of Oakville and Burlington. This includes houses, detached and semi-detached, townhouse and condo apartments. Some 650 properties have sold over the last 180 days in these areas and are waiting to close. 123 residential properties closed in the last 60 days.

With very few properties available, look to a very hot market over the next few months. Multiple offers and properties selling for over their list price are bound to continue.

This trend could continue is most areas across the country!
